FRAME: European Furniture warrants to the original retail purchaser, the wood frame to be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year of the wood frame from date of delivery, under normal use and conditions. The warranty coverage does not apply to furniture used for commercial purposes, or furniture altered from its original state, or moved from its original delivery address. This warranty is NOT transferable This warranty is not transferable and does not apply to merchandise purchased “as is” (i.e. floor samples or clearance center items). This warranty does not apply to European furniture purchased from a non-authorized European Furniture. Please keep your original delivery receipt, as it will be required for any warranty claim.
The warranty is only valid to the original user/consumer.
This warranty only applies under conditions of normal residential usage and does not apply to defects or damage resulting from negligence, abuse or misuse, including but not limited to inadequate or improper maintenance, improper cleaning, or exposure to chemicals and/or liquids, or fading caused by exposure to sunlight. Please refer to specific Furniture Care Instructions.
This warranty does not apply to any use for which the product was not designed, or for commercial usage, which includes rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential use, or to transportation or delivery damages.
Because of the craftsmanship and materials involved in the manufacturing process, minor differences and finish variations will occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this warranty does not cover those minor differences or finish variations, or any differences between floor samples, printed illustrations, Internet photos or other visual displays.
Any modification or alteration of European Furniture products, inclusive of electrical components, will void the warranty.
Under the terms of this limited warranty, European Furniture will either repair or replace the defective item. Repair or replacement is strictly at European Furniture discretion.
All warranty claims must initially be presented to the authorized European Furniture retail dealer where the furniture was purchased. The dated proof of delivery and item serial number are required for warranty validation. If retailer is no longer in business, please contact us for assistance.
COVERINGS: Leathers and fabrics are warranted to be free from defects for one year. This, however, does not cover abuse. The application of any anti-stain treatments, or the use of any cleaning compounds, other than brush vacuuming, renders this warranty null and void. Natural markings on Leather, such as scars, brands, grain variations wrinkles etc., are normal characteristics and are not construed as defects. Where evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse, or where the leather or fabric has had some form of chemical applied, the warranty will not apply. Are only warranted to the extent of the warranty provided by the fabric suppliers to European Furniture. Manufacturers of upholstery fabrics typically do not guarantee their products for wear because they cannot control its use. Color fastness, shrinkage, and pilling of fabrics are not covered under this warranty. Consistent with major fabric producers and furniture manufacturers, European Furniture in its sole discretion may refuse warranty coverage where “after market” fabric, leather protectors, or coatings have been applied. Chemicals in these applications can change the characteristics of certain fabrics and cause early failure, color changes, and other damage. We appreciate your understanding of this policy
CUSHIONS AND SPRINGS: Frame springs have a 1 year warranty. Seat cushions have a 1 year limited warranty. The natural softening of cushions (known as natural compression of the foam) and springs is not a defect. This softening will occur through normal use and is not considered to be a manufacturing defect. Also, fillings and materials will soften to conform to the shape of the user. This is also considered normal and not a manufacturing defect. European Furniture warrants to the original owner/ consumer that the springs will be free from manufacturing defects for 1 year. This warranty applies for 1 year of the product as long as it remains upholstered in the original fabric and is used under normal residential wear and conditions. This warranty does not apply to European Furniture furniture purchased second hand or from a non-authorized European Furniture dealer.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS: European Furniture reserves the right to inspect and either repair or replace the product at our discretion. This limited warranty only applies to the original retail purchaser at the address of the original delivery. This warranty does not apply to damage after the sale , improper use or cleaning with abrasives or harsh , negligence normal wear and tear, accidents including burns, cuts, scratches, tears scuffs, watermarks, dents, fading and the result of damage from smoke, fire and/or water or pet damage, floor samples or products designated “as is” at the time of purchase. This warranty does not apply to the furniture if placed in a Rental or Commercial property or Institutions. European Furniture will not be liable for any loss, expense, or damage other than the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. This warranty is not transferable and null and void if the furniture is moved to a location or resold to another party…..other than the original delivery site. We reserve the right to require defective parts to be returned to the factory upon request.
